TradeLocker Adds Automated Deposit Bonus Engine
TradeLocker integrated Takeprofit Tech's Deposit Bonus plugin, automating bonus administration for brokers. The tool credits a percentage of deposits and adjusts on withdrawals, with eligibility rules set by each broker. This move aims to give brokers more flexibility and reduce manual work.
TradeLocker has integrated Takeprofit Tech's Deposit Bonus plugin into its broker platform, automating the administration of deposit bonuses. The tool, announced on Wednesday, credits a percentage of each client deposit to their trading account and adjusts the promotional amount when withdrawals occur. Brokers using TradeLocker can now manage bonuses as an automated account process, with configuration options for eligible account groups, countries, and client categories.
The integration extends a partnership between the two companies, which began in February 2025 when TradeLocker added Takeprofit Tech's Liquidity Hub. According to TradeLocker CEO Dom Bradley, the integration means "more flexibility and less manual work" for brokers.
How the automated bonus works: The plugin calculates the award as a percentage of the deposit, and brokers can choose to record it as credit or balance. They can also set the system to deduct a corresponding share when funds are withdrawn. Campaign rules can be customized per entity or market, rather than applying uniformly to all TradeLocker accounts.
Takeprofit Tech has marketed a similar product for MetaTrader since at least December 2020, so the core mechanics are not new. The companies did not disclose pricing or any changes to the logic.
Automated bonus handling is already available in other broker platforms. Match-Trade Technologies introduced a deposit bonus system for Match-Trader, MT4, and MT5 in 2021, and expanded it in June 2024. Spotware's cTrader also supports various bonuses with broker-defined conversion rules.
For retail forex traders, this development highlights the ongoing trend of brokers using bonuses as a marketing tool. It's important for traders to understand the terms and conditions of any bonus, as promotional funds may be subject to restrictions and are not always withdrawable.
