Account tiers at a glance

Fxprox offers five account tiers, which we have examined in detail for this review. The lineup runs from STANDARD, with a minimum deposit of $250, up to PRO, which requires $500,000. In between sit SILVER ($10,000), GOLD ($50,000) and VIP ($100,000). These are substantial thresholds, and the naming suggests a deliberate laddering of trader status and presumed commitment.

What is immediately striking is that Fxprox does not disclose leverage, spreads or commissions for any of these tiers. In our assessment, that is a significant omission. A trader cannot compare the cost of execution or the risk profile of the account without these figures, and the absence of such basic data is a red flag in an industry where transparency is the norm.

STANDARD – the entry point

The STANDARD account is the most accessible tier, with a minimum deposit of $250. This is a common entry-level threshold in the retail forex space, and it suggests Fxprox is targeting new or casual traders who want to test the platform without committing large sums. However, the lack of disclosed spreads or commissions means we cannot tell whether this account is competitively priced.

For a beginner, the $250 minimum is not prohibitive, but the absence of cost transparency is a concern. We would advise any prospective trader to ask Fxprox directly for the full schedule of spreads, commissions and any hidden fees before funding an account. Without that information, the true cost of trading on the STANDARD tier remains unknown.

SILVER and GOLD – the middle ground

SILVER requires $10,000 and GOLD requires $50,000. These are serious sums that suggest Fxprox is positioning these tiers at more committed retail traders or semi-professionals. The jump from $250 to $10,000 is steep, and the leap to $50,000 is even more pronounced. It is unclear what additional benefits these tiers confer, as Fxprox does not publish any feature comparison.

In our view, the lack of differentiation between tiers is a problem. Typically, higher-tier accounts offer tighter spreads, lower commissions, dedicated account managers or access to additional instruments. Fxprox discloses none of this. A trader considering a $50,000 deposit would be wise to demand a written breakdown of what the GOLD account actually provides over SILVER.

VIP and PRO – the high-stakes tiers

VIP starts at $100,000 and PRO at $500,000. These are institutional-level thresholds that would normally come with premium services: dedicated relationship managers, bespoke execution, possibly lower costs and priority support. Yet Fxprox provides no information on what these tiers deliver.

For a trader with half a million dollars to place, the absence of any documented benefit is alarming. We would expect a broker to court such clients with detailed proposals. Instead, Fxprox offers only a name and a minimum deposit. In FXCanary's assessment, this is a serious deficiency that should give any high-net-worth individual pause.

Leverage and margin – the undisclosed risk

Leverage is not disclosed for any account tier. This is a critical omission because leverage determines both the profit potential and the risk of loss. In the Bahamas, where Fxprox holds its SCB licence, leverage limits are set by the regulator, but we do not have the specific figure from our records.

Without leverage information, we cannot assess the risk of a margin call or the suitability of the account for different trading styles. A high-leverage account can wipe out a deposit quickly, while a low-leverage account may not suit scalpers. We strongly recommend that traders obtain the leverage terms in writing before committing funds.

Spreads and commissions – no data

Neither spreads nor commissions are published for any Fxprox account. This is unusual even for a new broker, as most competitors at least advertise a typical spread range. The absence of this data makes it impossible to compare Fxprox's pricing with the market.

We attempted to find this information on the official website, but the site's account plans page does not list any cost details. In our experience, brokers that hide their spreads often have wider-than-average costs. Until Fxprox publishes a transparent fee schedule, we cannot recommend any of its accounts on cost grounds.

Trading platforms and tools

The official website mentions an 'innovative platform equipped with artificial intelligence' and provides links to a login and registration area at cfd.fxprox.com. However, we found no reference to MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, which are the industry standards. This suggests Fxprox may be using a proprietary platform.

A proprietary platform can be a double-edged sword. It may offer unique features, but it also means less third-party support, fewer automated trading options and potentially less liquidity. We could not verify the platform's reliability or execution quality, and the lack of independent reviews makes it impossible to gauge user experience. Traders should test the platform thoroughly with a demo account before depositing real money.

Account opening and KYC

The website offers a 'Sign Up' button that leads to a registration page. We did not complete the process, so we cannot detail the exact KYC requirements. However, as a regulated entity under the SCB, Fxprox is expected to conduct standard identity and address verification.

We advise traders to prepare a government-issued ID, proof of address and possibly proof of funds. The process may also involve a questionnaire on trading experience. Given the high minimum deposits on some tiers, Fxprox may require additional due diligence for VIP and PRO accounts. We recommend contacting support to clarify the process before starting.

Our verdict on Fxprox accounts

In FXCanary's assessment, Fxprox's account structure is opaque and under-documented. The five tiers are clearly defined by minimum deposit, but nothing else. No leverage, spreads, commissions or platform details are disclosed, which is a major transparency failure for a broker that claims to offer an innovative AI-equipped platform.

The high minimum deposits on the upper tiers are not inherently problematic, but they demand a level of service and disclosure that Fxprox does not currently provide. We would only consider this broker after receiving and reviewing a full written specification of each account, including costs and execution terms. Until then, we advise caution, especially for traders considering deposits above the STANDARD level.
