Account lineup at a glance

CopyLiveTrade Ltd presents a strikingly bifurcated account structure. On one side sit four crypto-denominated tiers — BTC BASIC, BTC STANDARD, BTC PRO and BTC PREMIUM — with minimum deposits quoted in whole bitcoins rather than fiat. On the other, three NFP-labelled accounts (STARTER, PREMIUM and the base NFP tier) and a single Advanced CORPORATE account are priced in US dollars, with thresholds ranging from $50,000 to $150,000.

What unites every tier is a flat 10% commission. No spread data, leverage figures or trading instruments are disclosed in our records, and the broker's own materials do not appear to clarify these points. For a trader, this means the headline cost of trading is the commission, but the absence of spread and leverage information makes it impossible to model total trading costs or risk exposure with any confidence.

The crypto accounts: BTC BASIC, STANDARD, PRO and PREMIUM

The four BTC accounts are the most unusual feature of CopyLiveTrade's offering. Minimum deposits escalate from 1 BTC on the BASIC tier to 5 BTC on STANDARD, 15 BTC on PREMIUM and 30 BTC on PRO. At prevailing bitcoin prices, even the entry-level account requires a five-figure US-dollar equivalent, and the PRO tier demands a sum that would be substantial for any retail trader.

We found no indication of what differentiates these tiers beyond the deposit size — no leverage, spread or platform details are on file. The naming suggests a laddered structure, but without disclosed features, a trader cannot assess whether the higher tiers buy better execution, lower commissions or additional services. The 10% commission is uniform across all four, which is unusually high by industry standards and would consume a significant portion of any short-term trading profit.

The NFP accounts: STARTER, PREMIUM and base

The NFP account family is priced in US dollars, with minimum deposits of $50,000 for the STARTER tier, $100,000 for PREMIUM and $150,000 for the base NFP account. These are institutional-scale thresholds that put the product well beyond the reach of most retail traders. The naming is opaque — 'NFP' is not a standard industry term for an account type, and we could not verify what it stands for in this context.

As with the crypto tiers, the only disclosed cost is the flat 10% commission. There is no information on leverage, spreads, or the instruments available. For a trader considering these accounts, the lack of transparency is a serious concern: committing $50,000 or more to a broker that does not publish its trading conditions is a high-risk proposition, regardless of the account's intended purpose.

The Advanced CORPORATE account

CopyLiveTrade also lists a single Advanced CORPORATE account with a $50,000 minimum deposit. This appears aimed at professional or institutional clients, though our records do not indicate what corporate-specific features it offers — no multi-user access, no dedicated account manager, no custom reporting is mentioned.

The 10% commission applies here as well. Given the absence of any disclosed corporate services, the account appears to be little more than a higher-deposit version of the retail tiers. For a genuine corporate client, the lack of tailored features and the uniform commission structure would be a significant drawback compared to established institutional brokers.

Minimum deposits and what they really mean

Across all eight account types, the minimum deposits are exceptionally high. The lowest entry point is 1 BTC on the BTC BASIC account, which, depending on bitcoin's price, could be anywhere from tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand US dollars. The fiat accounts start at $50,000 and go up to $150,000.

These thresholds effectively exclude retail traders and position CopyLiveTrade as a high-net-worth or institutional-only service. However, high minimum deposits are not inherently a red flag — many legitimate prime brokers operate this way. The concern is that CopyLiveTrade provides no compensating transparency about its execution, custody or risk management. A trader depositing $150,000 deserves to know precisely how their funds are held and how orders are executed; our records contain no such details.

Leverage and spreads: the missing numbers

Our records show no leverage figures for any account tier, and the minimum spread is listed as '--' across the board. This is a critical omission. Leverage is a double-edged sword — it amplifies both gains and losses — and a broker that does not disclose its leverage policy leaves traders unable to calculate their maximum risk exposure.

Similarly, without spread information, the true cost of trading cannot be estimated. The 10% commission is the only cost component we can verify, and it is high. In FXCanary's assessment, the absence of these basic trading parameters is a significant transparency failure. Regulated brokers are typically required to publish at least indicative spreads and leverage ranges; CopyLiveTrade's silence on both is a warning sign for any prospective client.

Trading platforms and demo accounts

We found no evidence that CopyLiveTrade offers any specific trading platform, whether MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, a proprietary web terminal or a mobile app. The broker's official domain, copylivetrade.com, is not verifiable in our records, and our risk assessment flagged 'no verifiable website or social-media presence.' This is a serious issue — a broker without a functioning, verifiable platform cannot be properly evaluated.

There is also no mention of a demo account. For a broker targeting high-net-worth clients, a demo account is standard practice, allowing traders to test execution and platform stability before committing capital. The absence of any demo offering, combined with the lack of platform details, suggests that CopyLiveTrade may not have a fully operational trading environment, or at least not one it is willing to showcase.

Opening an account and KYC

Our records contain no information about the account-opening process, required documentation, or KYC/AML procedures. We cannot confirm whether CopyLiveTrade conducts identity verification, source-of-funds checks, or any of the standard due diligence expected of a licensed financial services provider.

For a broker claiming regulation by the Seychelles FSA, KYC procedures are a regulatory expectation, but we have no evidence they are implemented. Traders considering CopyLiveTrade should be aware that the lack of a documented onboarding process is another layer of opacity. Without clear KYC, there is also no clarity on how funds are segregated or whether client money is protected in the event of broker insolvency.

FXCanary's verdict on the accounts

In FXCanary's assessment, CopyLiveTrade's account structure is unusual and under-documented. The high minimum deposits, uniform 10% commission, and complete absence of disclosed leverage, spreads, platforms and KYC processes combine to create a high-risk profile for any trader. The broker's FSA licence (licence no SD018, Derivatives Trading License (EP), Seychelles) is on file, but the licence status is listed as '—' and we could not verify its current validity.

Our Scam Risk Score of 45/100 ('Guarded') reflects these concerns. The lack of a verifiable website or social media presence is a particular red flag, as it makes independent due diligence nearly impossible. We would advise any trader, especially those considering the $150,000 NFP account, to demand full disclosure of trading conditions, platform access and regulatory standing before committing funds. Until CopyLiveTrade provides this information, the prudent course is to treat the broker with extreme caution.
